Location

Sirmione is a little and ancient village, with roman ruines, at the top of a Lake

peninsula. Half-way between Milan and Venice, it offers many options to enjoy some

of the Italian beauties and to visit other famous and cultural sites (Venice, Verona,

Mantua, Brescia, Bergamo, Lake Garda, and so forth). Sirmione can be reached

through the main airports of Northern Italy (Milan-Malpensa Milan-Linate, Bergamo

Orio al Serio, Verona), Shuttle Service available. By car : A4 highway (Milan-Venice),

exit Sirmione. By train: trains connecting Milan to Venice or viceversa, stopping at

Desenzano (Lake Garda).
Accommodation Special rates are provided to Meeting participants. Hotel list will be available at the

web page or through the Organising Secretariat. In case you contact the hotel directly,

ask for the special hotel rates reserved for the congress.
Airport Transfer Shuttle Service (at scheduled hours-notification advisable) will be available from the

major nearby airports (Milan-Malpensa, Milan-Linate, and Verona) directly to Sirmione

the day before the meeting opening (Thursday, June3rd ), and from Sirmione to the

airports on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning (June5th and 6th).
