Cell transplant and growth factor delivery are
extraordinary challenges in cardiovascular
medicine. Many clinicians, scientists, and patients
are relying on this novel therapies as a new hope
to treat irreversible damage of the myocardium. We
share this hope and took the committment to gather the
most renewed experts of the field to provide a true
state of the art, discuss limitations, and present
future research directions of cell transplantation and growth factor delivery for cardiac tissue
repair.
